=pekanbarutrip (2)= "Gratis" means FREE in Bahasa Indonesia. For the following posts, most of the foods are FREE, which I called them as "GRATIS FOOD"!! If you don understand what I writee also nevermind because my English is private limited company, lots of broken English ya. Oh ya, I also forget the dish name as I don know Bahasa Indonesia =p =Traditional Indo food= William's parents drive us to a restaurant and they say that their food are jawa style of indonesia food. In my opinion, this restaurant is a MUST to have a try there. Why? Because:![]() When we eat korean foods, they have those appetizers like kimchi and this restaurnt also have indo style of appetizers. You can DIY your appetizers because they will have different sauces for you to try. Oh ya, cucumbers with their samabl sauce taste nice!! Free one~ So, must kiasu take more but just don want waste the food then can already.Hmm, I like their rice, they have rice called "nasi kuching"--> cat rice and "nasi uduk" and we oder nasi uduk. It taste very special with those rempah ratus--> spice and the taste totally different as nasi lemak. You still can add those 银鱼,not sure whether called银鱼 or not. Trust me, you will definitely like their rice! Kk, now is food section: For their soup, this is something like asam (sour) soup. Honestly, I don think this soup is nice maybe I don like the sour taste. Very colorful rite?!,colorful drink?? But, not those sweet syrup. They use juice not syrup. A bit sour and sweet, nothing much to say, NICE and special!Well, I don know how to decribe the tatse because the taste very unique. Their foods serve in big portions and decorate very nice. This is their fry dish, very crispy and the most important thing is their fish not over cooked, a bit juciy! Not those dry one! I am a satay lovers. Of course, come to Indo must eat satay. For this restaurant, their satay is not the most delicious satay which I ate at Indo but their sauce is the most delicious one! Their satay a bit scorch. I like those satay which have a bit fat so when they BBQ the satay, the satay won't too dry. A bit close up of this satay sauce. Very nice, I think this restaurant put lots of effort in small details. Look at the sauce, with the crispy thingy and the "blakc color sauce", nice mixture again.Since this a restaurant, don't worry about flies. However, it is better to wipe out your spoons and forks first. Food: 5/5 ( Must try their chili fish!) Ambience: 3/5 ( The air-corn a bit hot and the environment a bit noisy) Service: 4/5 Price: Gratis --> FREE If not mistaken, total price around $31, cheap rite???! =Teh botol= William say this is indo's drinks. Indo style of jasmine tea. WJ say it tatse like those... ...lolz... Honestly, I don like the taste.=Murtabak= Our supper, murtabak. This murtabak a bit thick. I prefer their onions more than eating murtabak. Their murtabak taste same as murtabak here. If they sell onions, I definetly will buy!Food: 3/5 Service: 4/5 (He don mind I keep on taking pictures when he is cooking, well, I think I seem like blocking his ways) Price: GRATIS!! =Medan mee rebus= I would say that this mee rebus is the most delicious mee rebus I eat at pekanbaru. Again, this meerebus cooked by chinese people. Use of keropok again. This medan meerebus different from what I ate at the previous one. The taste a bit similar like our mee rebus. William say both mee rebus we ate consider as medan mee rebus but this one more traditional one. Both mee rebus I ate different taste and have different style of cooking. For me, both of the mee rebus taste nice. If the mee rebus not spicy enough, you can add some chile inside. I notice that lots of Indo foods use those small green chilies, not chili padi. This green chili very spicy and a bit bitter. We always think of chili contain lots of chili oils, this green chili don have much chili oils. If you really can tahan eat those very spicy foods, perhpas you will like it.Actually, still have satay but I din take pictures. WJ say their satay taste nicer than the restaurants, but the sauce still the restaurants is the BEST! Close up of mee rebus. They add small shrimps inside the mee rebus. Their small shripms very cirpsy and this is one of the reason I like their mee rebus.Oh ya, compare to previous one, this stall have less flies. Never mind la, because food nice so have more flies. =pFood: 5/5 ( Must try their mee rebus) Service:4/5 Price: GRATIS!! Labels: food hunting, pekanbaru |
