= Sg.Rengit--> seafood restaurant = Food hunting with my family during labour day. As usual, we eat at "xin guang" restaurant. However, I feel very dissapointed because of the poor service and the food is not yummy as usual. Perhaps, too many peopl? Well, here are the pictures... ...  Go to Sg.Rengit must order their lobsters because their lobsters very fresh and the price is very cheap compare to other places. Sg. Rengit is famous of small lobsters. We order stim lobsters. However, I feel dissapointed because the lobsters not so fresh as usual. Perhaps, the lobsters not well cooked enough. Next time, better order lobsters with butter. A bit close up mode of the lobsters. Well, the price increase a lot during festivals day. That time, ate with WJ and Sherman and the price for half KG around RM45 but due to public holiday this time, the price increase a lot. The lobsters cost RM80 and it is not worth, not nice for this time. Because too many people eat there, they anyhow cook?!! "La-laaa". This is the most delicious dish among all dishes. Nothing much to say, MUST TRY! wOHOO...! I am hungry liao!!! Chili crabs! Ok lar. They also expert in cooking crabs. However, the crabs size very small! Hehe. Eating crabs must eat at this part! However, no shiok of eating the crabs because the meats not much! But, the sauce... ...NICE!k, now come with the dissapointed part:  I don know how to called this, one types of "frog". But hor, this dish really NOT NICE! The meats not Q as usual. Eating the crabs should use the buns. Just a bun, we wait for 30 minutes. Bun with the crabs sauce, NICE! BUT, if let me choose, "hai fan chun's buns" is the best!Kk, we wait for more than 1 hour for the dishes. However, I don mind waiting for delicious food. But, I feel dissapointed this time because most of the foods not as tatsty as usual. I heard that this restaurant has changed the chiefs. For the service, the service SUX. I have to say that there are lots of people there and the service drop a lot. We orde " gong gong", after eating all dishes we thought "gong gong" will be the last dish. However, we wait for around 30 mins the dish haven't come. We ask for the waitres and she said that the chief is cooking. Around 10 mins later, she said:" SOrry no Gong Gong liao! WTH, we wait for 45 mins for nothing and no people notice us! I sraight away say their service SUX! For sure, we will not eat there next time. Such a dissapointed food! In the end, they charge us RM280 for all the dishes. I think because of the holidays, they charge a lot. If we eat at normal day, the price will not expensive. Well, for those who want to eat lobsters and seafood, Sg. Rengit is a good place!! Quality of restaurants during labour day Food: 3/5 Environment: 2/5 (too much people, a bit dirty) Service: 1/5 Price: 4/5 (A bit expensive) Normally the quality of food at xin kong restaurants: Food: 4/5 (Must order butter lobsters) Service: 3/5 Price: 2/5 (Cheap during normal day!) -There are lots of restuarants at Sg.Rengit! The town very small like fishing village so it is very convinience to walk around the town. How to get there: -One hour boat from Changi point, $8 for one way. Once you reach pengerrang, take taxi for 15 mins to Sg.Rengit. One person around $2.25 for taxi. -From KOTA TINGGI drive cars to Sg.Rengit. You can go to Tanjung Balau or Desaru then have your dinner at Sg.Rengit. Labels: food hunting |
